Emma Francis, Chartered Fellow CIPD, MSc Human Resources and MA (Hons).
Emma has 15 years HR experience specialising in learning and development, talent management, leadership and management development in the public, private and charitable sector. She is passionate about learning and development and has helped individuals, teams and organisations to grow and develop.
In 2006 she successfully qualified as a professional Coach and Mentor with the CIPD and the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring. Since then she has coached a diverse range of individuals from women returning from maternity leave, aspiring managers and experienced middle managers to overcome a range of challenges.
In November 2010 she decided to go freelance and set up Francis Coaching and Consultancy which has enabled her to better manage and balance her work and family commitments. This exciting new venture has meant she has been enjoying some varied freelance assignments as well as spending more time with her daughters.
Emma takes a person centred approach to her coaching, providing clients with a safe yet challenging environment to understand current realities, to explore options and in order to take action and move forward. Through one to one coaching sessions she helps clients to take responsibility and control of their personal development so improve their performance, maximise their potential and become the person they want to be. As a professional coach Emma strongly adheres to the European Mentoring and Coaching Council’s strict code of ethics (www.emccouncil.org) as well as the CIPD’s Professional Code of Conduct.
