The Buqi system is a Qigong health system that includes exercise and client involvement as part of its treatment therapy. The link between health with posture and movement is considered along with the emotional or mental influences. The aim of Buqi is to break the pattern of the condition, or disease, through exercise, treatment and self-help.
Exercises work with the internal chi force, to cultivate a strong vibrant chi flow and to specifically clear, or expel, negative chi from the body; these exercises can be learned one-to-one or at Taijiwuxigong classes and workshops.
A Buqi treatment is centred around the clearing of ‘binqi’ (the negative factors) and changing the ‘pattern’ of the ‘dis-ease’. The Buqi Practitioner will give specific transmission in the form of vibrational and directional energy information.
Self-help may involve using specific exercises which may vary from athletic movements to mental and/or breath and sound exercises.
It is possible to make many positive changes in a way that is supportive and pro-active, empowering the individual to be sensitive to their own needs and to make their own steps towards better health, well-being and the alleviation of pain.
