Therapies: Homeopathy

I am a qualified Homeopath and member of the Homeopathic Medical Association (HMA) and abide by its professional Code of Ethics and Practice. I have full professional insurance cover.

My background is in Humanistic Psychology and Holistic Health Care and I have over 20 years experience in related fields of complementary medicine.

My interest in complementary medicine first began when I studied Yoga, Dietary Therapy, Chinese Medicine and Therapeutic Remedial Massage, establishing a successful practise as a masseuse. I then went on to study Humanistic Psychology at the University of Surry and became involved in working with health care professionals within the NHS as a Facilitator, Humanistic Practitioner and Supervisor. My courses have been part of the Core Development Programme in several trusts for over 17 years.

My interest in Homeopathy began when I was successfully treated by a homeopath. I was so impressed by the power of the remedies to restore my sense of health and well being that I decided to learn more about it. I studied for four years with the College of Homeopathic Education, to obtain my licentiate to practise.

I came to realise that Homeopathy is a safe and effective form of healing. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body’s self healing mechanism, strengthen the immune system and raise the general level of health, making the person more resistant to infection and less susceptible to developing chronic disease.

I have seen homeopathy help people who have tried everything else and have come to see me as a last resort.

I have seen it help conditions that don’t respond well to conventional treatment, for example, immune system and nervous system disorders.

I have seen patients be able to reduce their medication and in some cases, to stop taking certain prescription drugs that have adverse side effects.

I work with all kinds of people and conditions, and specialise in treating children with learning difficulties and behavioural problems, where I prefer to work in conjunction with cranial osteopathy and developmental therapy.

What I love best about homeopathy, is being in a position to facilitate the healing process in my patients and to hear them tell me how much better they feel within themselves.

I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation, so we can discuss your health concerns and how Homeopathy may be able to help you. Call the Holistic Centre reception to book your appointment.

Homeopathy is covered by most private health schemes
